The story behind this use case
Rhys Sullivan ran a groceries Bot as a real replacement for HelloFresh, not a demo prompt.
The setup is a dedicated groceries chat with durable memory. “No olives” is the example that stuck: once he said it, the Bot was not supposed to put olives in a cart again. The shared computer stays signed into Amazon and Costco in the browser. Calendar is connected so the week is not only a shopping list but a cook-when plan.
The split is practical. Costco for bulk. Whole Foods or Amazon Fresh for produce. Amazon for the miscellaneous. Every order holds for approval. He posted the screenshot of the groceries thread as the proof, not a reconstructed role listing.
This is the lived grocery job. A later cupboard-photo tweet is a different Rhys experiment and is not this listing.
